Starting to think of summer...

Shower Seat

This shower seat is prepped and ready for concrete.

Stephane dumps in the concrete.

Look at that beautiful radius. Cutting Styrofoam this smoothly is the result of great skill.

The shower seat and door sill are poured and screeded. Once they have wet cured for two days we will strip them and polish the pieces.

Entrance Floor in MacGregor

Stephane does some finishing touches as he cleans up around this coloured self-levelling overlay.

Here Stacey uses his incredible hand eye coordination with the final coating. Notice how the colour comes alive with the sealer.

Now we wait for Wayne to put his doors back on and finish the baseboards.

6.5 months and counting for this reno

Check out that sweet seam.

We try to make as few seams as possible but this piece would only fit the space as a top made of 2 pieces.

Here is a massive ensuite vanity top. We had to get some help carrying this one up the stairs.

These custom built stainless steel sinks will be installed on the counter tops. I can't wait to get the finished pics.

Finishing the Shower Base

Pre-mixed concrete from our shop ready for installation.

The concrete is all poured and ready to be hand trowelled.

The concrete has had a chance to cure and we're ready for sealer.

Check out this cool UV cured sealer.

Once we pass over the sealer with this 300 Watt UV light the sealer is 100% cured. In this case that means the drywallers could continue their work as soon as we were out of their way.

Stephane starts prepping a shower base.

2 coats of water proofing membrane are applied. Tomorrow we will form it up for concrete, reinforce it and pour the shower base.

Pouring a Barn Floor in Winter

CONCRETE!!!

The Square Prairie pumper in action - 3 wheel barrels and lots of smiles.

Just getting the pour started. Graydon is still smiling.

Stephane does the final screeding touches.

Harry the Deutschlander. Square Prairie's newest acquisition. Good work Harry.

Let the Stamping Begin

Flash on...

Flash off...

Flash on...

Flash off. Things get a little dusty when you are stamping inside. But as you can see moral is high (that's a double thumbs up high).

A Barn for Weddings

Pour 1 of 3 stamped.

Wash off all the release agent. Awesome weather to be able to wash with the doors open and have no freezing.

Wood plank stamp close up. What a perfect fit for this project.

Once this water drys from washing we will seal the floor.
