Fibre Optic Vanity Top

Alex begins drilling holes...288 fibre optic strands means 288 tiny holes to be drilled.

Each fibre optic strand is pushed through the form and taped on the back side so it doesn't pull out while pouring the concrete.

This is how the underside of the form looks.

All 288 of the fibres are in place. This is going to be a really cool piece.

Beautiful Cobblestone Driveway

Floating a driveway. The concrete is coloured using Davis Colors, Sandstone.

Harry gets all nimbly and bimbly like as he hand floats some tricky areas.

Alex begins the texture touch-ups along the edge of the pad.

Harry checks the pad before he places the next cobblestone mat.

Stephane stamps the texture in.

The texture starts to show.

The pad is still covered with release agent and looks gray.

Freshly washed, the cobblestone texture looks great.

What a great texture and colour for this farm house.

Green Horn

Alex is new to Square Prairie. It took about 90 minutes for his blisters to break open and start dripping blood down his arms. Those Xbox controllers won't know what hit them come winter.

Raised Concrete Deck

That's right, this is a raised wood deck but we used concrete instead of wood planks for the decking material. This is a great way to keep water from leaking onto stored items under the deck...also, it looks really cool.

Structural Patio

The walk leading to what will be a structural patio. This concrete is actually a really nice brown under the gray release agent shown in this picture.

We used steel piers for the supports.

Alex learns the art of bending rebar.

Our newest Duetschlander, Peter, reinforcing the corners.

We didn't want any blow outs on this pad and made sure with ample bracing.

This is a picture of the pad just after completing the stamping. The top of the pad will be designed with a 13" acid stained border and stair treads and a 5' grid cut at an angle everywhere else.

These forms will be off soon to reveal the square bullnose risers and true beauty of this patio.

Metal and Glass Inlay

This is a custom flower inlay made from metal strips and a glass circle center.

The mist coat has just been sprayed. This inlay is going to be awesome.

This is turning out to be a very cool vanity top.

This GFRC piece is super light, super thin and super durable.

Harry learns how to polish.

Here is a combination of three jobs requiring lots of polishing...

and Harry loves it.
