Power Washing

Power washing reveals the true beauty of our work.

As the release agent is washed off the job begins to look like it is supposed to.

Look out Paul Blart! This bad boy is not your average mall cop segway, this is airport police.

GFRC Strength

Jeff Girard stands on a GFRC beam (6' x 16" x 2") with a 24" overhang. No flex and no cracks.

So... I figured I would give it a try too. Same result.

My very first GFRC piece just out of the mold...

and into my hands. Man is this stuff light.

Even Stephane can lift it.

It is super strong too. This 8' long kitchen, with an oversized farm sink, is not even 24hrs old and you can already stand in the sink.

Custom Concrete for the Office

This pouring table is prepped and ready for action. We'll let the glue and silcone set up until tomorrow so no shifting occurs while pouring. The reception desk transaction top is over 10.5' long.
The countertops have just finished being poured. Now we wait 48hrs to de-mold.
This is always a highly anticipated day. Here we take the forms off and see what our babies look like. All of the melamine molding has already been taken off and the pieces are ready to move to the wet polising area.
This is the reception desk after being ground and polished.
The vanity top and the small undermount sink top. The thickened edge only has minimal polishing to highlight the distressed detailing.

Here Stacey creates acid stained veins to border the ground concrete portions. Although the finished product looks like one colour, three colours were used for this project.

The reception desk has a unique agate stone inlay within the ground concrete. This vein was done with the same staining technique as the the vanity.

Stephane begins to unload the counters from the back of the truck.
Installation is a precise art.
This is the completed vanity. The bracing is cast as part of the vanity so it can be completely hidden. Notice the custom 6" distressed edge!

Check back soon for finished pics of the reception desk, vanity and small undermount top.
