Glow in the Dark

Here are some finsihed pics of the glow stone glowing.

We placed the glow stone in the the vein around the inlayed river stone.

This is a finished pic of the same counter with the lights on. Beautiful with light and without.

Huge Kitchen

Thank goodness for GFRC on this kitchen. We were able to do this entire kitchen with only one seam. The peninsula is 12'6" long.

A Designers Patio Takes Innovative Form Design

Forming this one was a lot of work.

 More forming around the front.

The way we formed this patio and walkway allowed the rebar and concrete to be continuous while allowing spacing for grass to give the illusion of large concrete tiles.

Just about ready to start pouring concrete. We had to pump the concrete over the house on this one.

Harry and Stephane stamp each pad separately.

This is the walk to the back alley all sealed up.

The patio is sealed and the yard is ready to be landscaped. Check back for finished pics soon.

Another Fireplace Surround

This is another really cool fireplace surround and hearth we got to do. The surround is a large GFRC piece cast on corrugated tin sheeting.

Stainless Steel Sinks

This is a custom stainless steel sink on a light charcoal concrete countertop.

The ensuite had two of these sweet custom sinks.

And here is the matching tub. Very cool!

Custom Shower Bases

Concrete shower base in white.

Concrete shower base in dark charcoal.

Boardroom Table

An awesome boardroom table we just installed. Gotta love the raw fir boards that make up the base. They match well with the wood columns in this renovated exchange district building.

It's hard to see on this picture but the edge is 1" thick with a 30" radius going to 2 1/4" thick on the underside of the table. Kind of like the rounded bottom of an airplane wing.

This is a pop up hub for power, internet, and the future...

Here's a top view of the 10' long x 4' wide table.

Lightbulbs for Hooks

These concrete light bulb hooks are so cool.

Rock Vein

Here Harry routers out the melamine for the rock vein.

This is what the finished vein and counter look like before pouring.

Stacey and Stephane place the concrete for the vein which contains various sizes of glow rock from AGT. Yes, that's right this vein is going to glow!

Stacey sprays the final bit of mist coat for the counter.

Here's what the bottom of a GFRC counter looks like with a 12" cantilevered edge and knockout for an apron sink.

This is one large hunk of concrete.

Harry's expert polishing brings this piece to life. Can't wait to have of pic of this baby glowing.

Der Harry Tisch

Concrete and wood are always a great fit. Square Prairie brought this Harry Wiebe design to life.

Fabric Formed Sink

Our latest creation shows off some of the fabric forming skills we've been developing. Look out for some very interestingly shaped pieces of concrete in the future.

This is a detail of the concrete inlay on the edge of the counter.

Fireplace Surround

This fireplace turned out amazing. The hearth is 13' long and the fireplace surround is 8' by 50".

Can't wait until the fireplace is hooked up and the shards of mirror can reflect the flames.

R & D

A friendly hand to hold... too much alone time at the shop can have interesting results.

Experimenting with some new inlay ideas and fabric forming.

The 'mini sink' was poured quickly as a test but turned out pretty cool. You will start to see many more fabric formed items being created in the Square Prairie shop.

Cross Drain

A very cool cross drain to minimize the look of metal on the custom integral concrete sink.

Future Spot

This will be the future space for a very cool fireplace surround with a 13' hearth.
