Alex begins drilling holes...288 fibre optic strands means 288 tiny holes to be drilled.
Each fibre optic strand is pushed through the form and taped on the back side so it doesn't pull out while pouring the concrete.
This is how the underside of the form looks.
All 288 of the fibres are in place. This is going to be a really cool piece.
